Hear a Deathly Hallows preview
As millions of fans wait for the final two installments of the Harry Potter franchise with what is no doubt baited breath, soundtrack fans get a treat of their own – a new film score from Alexandre Desplat. The French composer has previously wandered into beloved mega-franchise territory with his music for New Moon (of the Twilight saga).
With composers like John Williams and Patrick Doyle previously at the helm, the Potter franchise has produced some great fantasy music and Desplat is certainly amongst some impressive peers. With multiple Oscar nominations and a long list of impressive credits under his belt, Desplat leaves little doubt that he is up to the task.
The soundtrack for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 will be released on November 16. Preview clips are available from Amazon UK.
